Word learn from podcast
1 towards
2 across means travelling from one side to another
3 traffic jam means big delay when you are driving
2 rush hours means when most go to for work
2:41 There's traffic jams on the road( Isn't the word 'traffic jams' plural?) why they use 'There's'
Thanks, BBC , for this episode. It was nice, easy for everyone learning English, beneficial for them . In this episode I learned new words like , Traffic jam : it means the streets are crowded with people, cars and buses . I want to mention something funny, like Georgie I'm go to my work not by bus but on foot 😂

My travel usually I walk to work. It takes 30 minutes but it's raining or my feet are kill me .I take the bus until the main square and I walk 3 blocks to work. Buses from my neighbourhood don't pass in front of my job.

Thanks BBC!
I appreciate the calm delivery and learner‑first structure; short segments and subtle recap moments build confidence ️ I upload short drills too and would be grateful for any gentle pointers you’re open to sharing.
