  2. 1. Don‘t look videos that want You to tell what to do or not to do. Just look at 1 video about good behaviour in Japan. Follow this, and that is enough. Japan is easy going.

  3. As a Japanese woman who has lived abroad, I feel conflicted when I see white people happily enjoying Japan. In Western countries, I was even punched in the face, mocked for my accent, and denied services. That’s why it feels so ironic when they casually praise Japan’s safety and kindness.

    I have a question: we will be in Tokyo on the thrid Monday of September which is a Holiday, the Respect for the Elderly day.
    I did research and now know about its origins and history. What I don't know is what things would be best to do on that day in Tokyo. Is it more crowded (everyone shopping in Tokyo) than usual or less (everyone out in the country?)
    Any suggestions about what to avoid or what to do on this specific day will be highly appreciated.
    I don't mind if prices are up on that day, it's to be expected on a holiday .

  6. I might go to Japan one day. I will be sure to keep these tips in mind.

    I even have a rough itinerary in mind, so I ran the calculations for the cost of train travel and found that I would be best off paying for individual tickets rather than getting a pass.

Is it OK for a young child to pee on a tree in a park? Are there enough public toilets? What do I do if one the kids is asking for toilet asap in a busy area?

    I found out through other videos that you need the stamp in the passport to get JR passes, so automatic immigration with QR code should be avoided right? Even though it’s so helpful.

  24. I sleep on a tatami mattress, I do not think I’ll have much of a problem. However, I actually sleep on two of them. The one underneath is kind of a foam mattress. I roll them up in the morning and put them off to one side.
