8. Before castle Neuschwanstein was spoken of Munich (Bavaria) but there where definitely scenes shown of Dresden (Saxonia): Frauenkirche, Schauspielhaus …and then Bamberg (im northern Bavaria/Franconia)

25. Norway is highly recommended! I just visited last summer, and it’s easily one of the most beautiful countries I’ve ever been to. The landscapes are absolutely breathtaking!

41. On the train in Switzerland does it matter what side you sit on. Or should I sit on the right or left side

42. Great list. Did something similar in Switzerland backpacking in 1979, took a train and cable car to the Shilthorn. Cost $25 back then, which is more than we paid for accomodations. I remember it being the most expensive thing we did in Europe the 2 months we were there. Afraid to hear what the cost might be today. But was well worth it. By contrast, I was in Sicily last year, planned to go to Cefalu from Palermo, got to the train station and they told me the track was closed for maintenance. So I never made in there, as was going to Catania the next day.
